Can genital swell of BPH (enlarged prostate)?
I'm only 19 years and have had problems with urination had a bladder infection and kidney, so I had a CT scan to check for kidney stones or bladder, also had an ultrasound performed well, the only thing left for the doc to check is the prostate, they think they can be enlarged. but my question is swelling and tenderness may be associated with BPH?
The prostate is a gland in the cuffs of the urethra just below the bladder. general, BPH is observed in older men 50. the genitals can swell due to enlarged prostate, unless you have a prostate infection with the infection of the testicles (prostatitis with epididymis-orchiitis). pain and tenderness not associated with BPH but is more likely with prostatitis.
