Breast cancer is cancer? Why men do not have as much awareness for prostate cancer?
Still I thought that cancer was the same and everybody should have the same urgency to treat. What makes breast cancer more important than any other way?
There are many different types of cancer, which all require different types of treatment. Men are generally not develop prostate cancer until they are older than 45 years, but there are exceptions. Women with breast cancer strikes one as almost any age and is considered as hormone related. There is currently great controversy over whether women should have mammography screening for breast, but IMO the sooner the better, because it can be quite threatening. Prostate cancer is a slow growing cancer of the cases most intimate, but there is no exception.
