Such effects secondary treatment as decreased muscle mass, decreased bone density, breast enlargement and hot flashes.
Orchiectomy

These therapies are in the form of orchiectomy surgery (where the testicles are surgically removed), hormonal medications, etc. late cure stage cancer of the prostate is rare, but possible. Alternative treatments for prostate produce objective and subjective responses of patients.
Some treatments such as anti-androgen orchiectomy is obviously irreversible and so most patients choose hormone therapy to block androgens and holidays. But reports show that patients who underwent orchiectomy had a higher survival rate than those who choose hormone therapy.
Alternative hormone in the prostate treatments are appropriate for men with advanced cancer of the prostate before being treated with radiotherapy (neoadjuvant) therapy. If PSA levels have increased, this does not mean that there is an extension of the cancer to recur. You can be cured if the cancer is found in the prostate itself.
The alternative treatment options for prostate cancer persistent or recurrent after local treatment are:
 • Patients who have had radiation treatments may first go on androgen suppression and surgery.
 • Patients who have undergone first surgery, both anti-androgen and surgery are options.
Note that after implantation of radiation seeds, the levels PSA soar temporarily, which is not a sign of cancer recurrence.
Patients are more likely to die from cancer that has recurred and are at high risk should have treatment and alternative therapies for prostate. People at low risk may not need an alternative treatment prostate. Some studies have shown that patients at low risk sometimes lived for more than sixteen years or more after cancer recurrence. Some solutions alternative treatments for prostate treatment include:
 • An anti-androgen therapy: Treatments that inhibit or block androgen male hormone and are the appropriate response to the increase in PSA after treatment failure. From the start of androgen suppression therapy increasing PSA level or more later, after symptoms have developed will depend on the particular patient.
 • Salvage prostatectomy: This procedure is also sometimes performed after radiation therapy was not successful and if the cancer is still located. The probability that this alternative treatment procedure for prostate cancer are 10 to 64% and many doctors do not recommend prostatectomy Rescue in case of failure of radiotherapy due to severe complications that arise. Question about prostate cancer?
My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April 2007. July 2007 was to remove Da Vinci robot prostate. Now he is in regular checks ….. He was diagnosed when PSA was 4 …. PSA now only his back and is .3. I know that is not as high as it was before 3 is far from 4 …. but what does the 3? The doctor did not think whatsoever …. and my father is back for a lot of views. Just wondering if anyone can help me to undestand what the .3. Then these cells were killed preparation and eating (he does) … or will you prb need radiation or hormone therapy?
He had cancer of the prostate 2005. I had radiation treatment, proton Loma Linda University Medical Center, Loma Linda, California Proton radiation has no side effects and speak with a cure rate of 90% .. When I was there many people who did not undergo surgery, implants and Harmon Lupron does not work or not … and proton radiation gettin rid of his cancer. They know about proton radiation at the time that other treatment .. I think he is the best treatment for prostate cancer on today .. Id say your father would be very nice if I could proton radiation. It is very different from conventional radiation. With 90% of Proton energy processing is conducted exactly the point of being Treaty … not as the surrounding tissue and organs are not damaged and the processing power is delivered when needed in a concentrate. There is a site called proton Bob speaks of proton radiation and prostate cancer .. If you go and do not forget to read the testimony of the patient section and see how others former patients are being sold on what I am .. you will probably find a witness or two of some who had other treatments that work is not yet taken, but after protons and are very good right now .. There is also a book coming out called You Can Beat Prostate Cancer by Robert J. Marckini, a Surviving prostate cancer. It's great. It says a lot about prostate cancer and then told all about all different types of treatments available today more advantages and disadvantages and side effects of each type of treatment .. You can buy at Barnes and Noble and other bookstores or online at Bob Proton .. Its only my opinion but my experience with prostate cancer and treatment .. I think your father would be very nice if I could go to radiation proton prostate cancer … Hope this helps
